Belén Moneo studied Art History and Visual Arts at Harvard University, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1988. In 1991, she obtained a Master of Architecture from the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation in New York and later, along with Jeff Brock founded the Moneo Brock Studio in 1993.
Working between Spain and America, her projects cover architecture, urban planning, interior design and exhibition, and furniture and product design. As a designer she has worked for brands such as Roca and DAE, and her work has been exhibited in numerous galleries, fairs and institutions such as Rossana Orlandi Gallery in Milan, Zona MACO in Mexico, COAM, and the Ibero-American Design Biennial.

Her work reveals her great interest in the plastic arts, displaying her deep interest in: plasticity, geometry, material, light, transparency and color. As an architect, questions of structure and processes of assembly or execution are carefully considered. Belén Moneo enjoys the challenge of solving different conditions at very different scales, demonstrating versatility as she develops new solutions and languages to apply to her many projects. Her academic practice at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura in Madrid complements her professional experience. She has participated in conferences around the world and published her work extensively in various international media.
