Forever associated with the hedonism and optimism of Barcelona design around the 92 Olympics era Eduard Samsó is both interior and industrial designer.
Born in Barcelona in 1956 Samsó trained as an architect at the Barcelona’s Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura where he graduated in 1980. In 1983 he created Samsó + Associats. Between 1985 and 1987 he was a FAD board member (Fomento de las Artes y del Diseño). He is considered one of the leading trend setters in Barcelona’s interior design.
Since the mid-eighties his projects have included retail shops such as Jean Pierre Bua as well as bars like Nick Havanna, both located in Barcelona. He is also author of corporate interiors for Pans & Company and Art Box, whose premises can be found around Spain.
