Oscar Tusquets represents a compound of creativity. Now, BD Barcelona is presenting a line of furniture developed from his signature 1987 Gaulino Chair.
Taking inspiration from Antoni Gaudi and Carlo Mollino, Tusquets created Gaulino. The Gaulino silhouette has grown into a collection of chairs and tables. Its characteristic sinuous lines are transferred into the Gaulino Easy (which is lighter and lower than its predecessor), the Gaulinetta (which is a slender, armless interpretation), and the Gaulino Stool (the little one). The BD range also expands from seating to tables. The Gaulino seats can accompany a selection of Gaulino Tables (large wooden dining tables) or can sit alongside the Carlinas (a range of smoked glass tables). Made with ethically produced, FSC-certified materials, all the furniture derives from the sculptural progenitor, the Gaulino Chair.
Gaulino is more than a collection. It is a luxurious take on a family of furniture.
