At first glance, it has a simple design. But the modularity and dozen leg options add charisma. The Multileg collection emphasises Jaime Hayon’s style: he has a love for an idiosyncrasy in form and a combination of practicality and play. Now, the collection has expanded and includes new finishes for the Multileg tables and cabinets.
The table is visually approachable and functional, and the original cabinet was a success at the 2006 Milano Furniture Fair and continues to impress today. They elicit feeling with a variety of angular lines and shapes selected from a dozen leg configurations. Varying from square blocks to classical turned wooden spirals, flutes, ball legs and warping trumpets, the legs evoke the classical and contemporary. The collection sits comfortably in a range of environments, with modularity perfect for an office, home or hotel.
Now, they can be finished in either veneered natural ash MDF with open-pore painted in red, yellow, blue, green and black. The variety of finishes gives the collection an open personality, allowing the furniture to reflect the character of the owner and the space in which it dwells.
"The new stained wood finishes in earthy tones offer a refreshing palette that warmly welcomes the Multileg family into a new realm. With their cool and contemporary aesthetic, they add a touch of modernity to any space." — Jaime Hayon
