The Calvet Hanger has an innovative functionality and is the smallest piece of furniture made by Gaudí. It curves between wooden elements with twisting, brassplated steel ribbons holding onto a rounded oak hanger.
The ribbons grasp three elongated openings perfect for hanging an umbrella or hooked hangers. They stretch from the wall-fixed support to the rectangular body, reaching the protruding wooden hanger as it floats in mid-air. This illusion of lightness contrasts with the functionality of the hanger.
