A limited-edition coffee set designed by Alfredo Häberli, hand-painted and stunning.
Alfredo Häberli designed the collection for the Dubai World Exhibition in 2021 and was adapted in 2023 for BD’s 50th anniversary. This special-edition porcelain collection is inspired by the history of Gahwa (Arabic coffee) in Emirate society. Made from dyed porcelain and hand-painted in platinum, the sheen of the teapot and cups creates a contemporary feel. At the same time, the six teacups of three different styles are stackable referencing the coffee etiquette of Gahwa. Consisting of 50 numbered crockery sets, the Doobide is available in 10 green, beige, flesh, grey and blue sets.
