BD presents the new MASHEB sofa by the architectural office Arquitectura-G in BD’s headquarters, in Barcelona. On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of Modern Obscure Music, it will be hosting a listening room at BD’s headquarters from the 2nd to the 12th of April. BD invites you all to sit and experience the MASHEB during daily listening room sessions and over six specially curated evenings from 6pm to 11pm.

The Masheb sofa is a rectilinear system with the softness of Alcantara and a strong visual presence. Arquitectura-G plays with the concept of solidity through extremely simple bodies. Its square and triangular cushions sit on prismatic blocks that rise above solid-turned aluminium legs. Available in three sizes, the Masheb works as an individual module or can be intertwined with multiple elements to adapt to both casual situations and formal environments. ARQUITECTURA-G is a Barcelona-based architectural practice founded in 2006 by Jonathan Arnabat, Jordi Ayala-Bril, Aitor Fuentes and Igor Urdampilleta while they were still students. Their work ranges from furniture design to private houses, retail architecture, multi-familly housing or public facilities. They have broad experience in the renovation of historical architecture, renovations and new constructions.
Modern Obscure Music is a cross-cutting platform based in Barcelona that explores the boundaries between different disciplines based on deep listening and music research.
